2. Product Description

All products are handcrafted and produced using artisan techniques. As such:

• Minor variations between pieces may occur
• Materials such as pearls, resin, clay and metalwork may display natural variation
• Colours and finishes may appear slightly different depending on screen settings

These variations form part of the handcrafted nature of the design and do not constitute faults.

3. Made-to-Order and Bespoke Items

Many designs offered by Jen Gilbert Couture Bridal Accessories are made-to-order or bespoke.

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, personalised or custom-made goods are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation period.

Therefore:

• Orders for made-to-order items cannot be cancelled once production has commenced
• Bespoke or custom-designed accessories are strictly non-refundable
• Deposits or payments for bespoke designs are non-refundable
• Design consultations or custom design work may also be non-refundable once begun

This policy reflects the time, materials and design work involved in producing handcrafted bridal accessories.

4. Pricing

All prices are listed in GBP and may be subject to change without notice.

Pricing reflects the handcrafted nature of the work, couture standard production techniques and the use of premium materials including Preciosa pearls.

Jen Gilbert Couture Bridal Accessories carefully benchmarks pricing against established bridal boutiques and the luxury bridal accessories market to ensure fair and appropriate value.

5. Orders and Acceptance

Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders in circumstances including but not limited to:

• product availability issues
• pricing errors
• suspected fraudulent activity
• inability to fulfil an order within an appropriate timeframe

If an order cannot be fulfilled, any payment received will be refunded.

6. Production Timeframes

Production timelines vary depending on design complexity and order volume.

Estimated lead times may be provided but are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Customers are responsible for placing orders in sufficient time before their wedding or event. Jen Gilbert Couture Bridal Accessories cannot be held liable for delays caused by late ordering.

7. Delivery

Orders are shipped using tracked delivery services where possible.

Once an item has been dispatched, responsibility for delivery transfers to the courier service.

Jen Gilbert Couture Bridal Accessories is not responsible for:

• delays caused by postal services or couriers
• customs delays for international orders
• incorrect delivery information provided by the customer

Customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties or import taxes.

8. Returns

For non-bespoke, ready-to-wear items, customers may request a return within 14 days of delivery in accordance with UK consumer law.

Returned items must be:

• unworn
• unused
• in original packaging
• in saleable condition

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty.

9. Faulty Goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, customers are entitled to remedies for faulty goods.

If an item arrives faulty or damaged:

• notification must be made within 48 hours of delivery
• photographic evidence may be requested

Where a genuine fault is confirmed, we may offer:

• repair
• replacement
• refund

Normal wear, accidental damage, misuse or improper storage does not qualify as a fault.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jen Gilbert Couture Bridal Accessories shall not be liable for:

• indirect or consequential loss
• wedding or event disruption resulting from delays
• loss arising from misuse of products

Our liability shall not exceed the value of the purchased product.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Intellectual Property

All designs, product images, written content and branding associated with Jen Gilbert Couture Bridal Accessories remain the intellectual property of the designer.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute or commercially use any material from this website without written permission.

12. Website Use

We reserve the right to modify or withdraw website content at any time without notice.
